David L. Manz - Bio

 

 

 

DAVID L. MANZ practices with the law firm of Greenman & Manz, in the firm’s Marathon and Key West offices. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Southern District, U.S. District, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is currently Chair Elect of The Florida Bar Family Law Section and the President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Florida Chapter.

David Manz’s Section and Chapter involvements include: Family Law Section Executive Council from 1996 until present; Family Law Section Secretary, 2008 - 2009, Treasurer 2009-2010, and Chair Elect 2010-2011. Mr. Manz was Chair of the Equitable Distribution Committee, Family Law Section, 2006-2007. Mr. Manz has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers from 1997 until present. He served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Florida Chapter, 2007-2008, President Elect, 2009-2010 and is currently serving as President. Mr. Manz also has served as Editor of the Family Law Commentator, Family Law Section, 1997-1998 and Chair of The Florida Bar Journal, Family Law Section, 2000-2001. He was a Member of the Florida Bar Marital and Family Law Board Certification Committee from 2001-2007 and Chair from 2002-2003. He also served as the Vice-Chair of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, 1994-1997 and was a Member of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, 2002-2004.
